Elias G. Saboura-Polkovotsy
Managing Attorney
Elias G. Saboura-Polkovotsy (“Eli”) litigates in a broad range of complex commercial, business, construction, general liability and casualty, and professional liability claims throughout Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He regularly practices before the state and federal courts, as well as administrative bodies, and has over twenty-one (21) years of experience handling complex civil cases as a litigation and trial attorney, both defensively and offensively.
Over the years Eli has developed a diverse civil litigation practice defending general liability and casualty litigation, construction litigation, premises liability disputes, and professional defense of design professionals, directors and officers and contractors. He has represented condominium associations, management companies, cooperatives, trucking companies, airlines, fitness clubs, apartment complexes, condominiums, restaurants and bars, retail establishments, non-profit organizations, gyms, health care clinics, daycare centers, hotels, and small business owners in various general liability and casualty mattes.
In addition, Eli has extensive experience in providing professional malpractice defense to attorneys, accountants, real estate agents, directors and officers, real estate professionals, title insurance professionals, health care professionals, nursing homes, social workers, engineers, architects and other design professionals. Further, Eli has represented such professionals in other disciplinary matters. These matters include arbitrations and administrative board trials including hearings before the American Arbitration Association, and state professional responsibility peer review actions for attorneys and health care professionals.
A graduate of University of Baltimore School of Law, with honors, Eli clerked for the Honorable John F. Fader, II, of the Circuit Court of Baltimore County. During law school, Eli was Staff Editor at the University’s Journal of Environmental Law, a member of the Moot Court Board Team, and the President of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. He also holds an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.
